Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners
In accordance with the Radiologic Technologists Act (N.J.S.A. 26:2D-24 ) the Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners (Board) consists of 15 members and has the following responsibilities:
- To advise the Commission on Radiation Protection on issues involving radiologic technology.
- To establish and review educational standards and policies for radiologic technology educational programs.
- To develop and review licensure standards and to license applicants who meet these standards.
- To review and award accreditation to those radiologic technology programs that meet or exceed the educational standards and policies.
- To investigate allegations of unethical conduct and to report potential sanctions to the Commission for their action.
Public Notice for the upcoming Board meeting
Pursuant to P.L. 1975, c. 231 (“Open Public Meeting Act”) notice is hereby given that the Board will hold a public meeting on:
Wednesday May 13, 2026 at 9:30 a.m.
This meeting will be held in person at 25 Arctic Parkway, Ewing, NJ 08638 with a remote option via Teams. Interested parties are asked to join via Teams and wait to be admitted into the meeting. If you are interested into calling into the meeting because you do not have acess to Teams, email the Technologist Cetification Section for the call in information for the meeting.
Items on the agenda include, but are not limited to, discussion and action taken on educational programs in radiologic technology and applications for examination and/or licensure. The Board may deem it necessary to go into closed session at this meeting.

Schools wishing to teach radiologic technology or radiation therapy must obtain Board approval by submitting an application to the Bureau of X-Ray Compliance (Bureau) at P.O. Box 420 (Mail Code 25-01), Trenton, New Jersey 08625. Board standards and other reference materials for diagnostic and dental radiologic technology and radiation therapy are listed below. For limited programs, please contact the Bureau at (609)984-5890.
