The Emergency Debris Planning webpage has documents to guide counties and municipalities in preparing for a debris generating event, such as the Municipal Tool Kit, which summarizes how municipalities should begin planning for an event; the Speed Up Your Cleanup Flyer, which is available for counties and municipalities to reprint and provide to residents; and the County Emergency Debris Management Plan Template, which can be used by counties and municipalities to prepare a debris management plan.

While the Emergency Debris Planning webpage has general guidance available for planning for debris generating events, every event is different and the Department develops guidance specific to each event, in addition to the general planning guidance that has been provided. This webpage will have information specific to any future debris generating events and will be where the Department will post any event specific information. Information regarding State debris management contracts is also available on this page.
