Hazardous Waste Transporters

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]In most instances, companies which transport hazardous waste generated by others are required to obtain an A-901 license. A-901Licensed companies and hazardous waste self-generators must complete an Initial Registration Statement to become registered and obtain decals for each piece of equipment used to transport waste.

Public entities and those transporting self-generated hazardous waste are required to complete an Initial Registration Statement to become registered and obtain decals for each piece of equipment used to transport waste.

Those who are already registered can use the online service to obtain decals for additional equipment, obtain updated or replacement cab cards, replace lost or damaged decals, and inactivate a decal no longer being used.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row” full_height=”yes” columns_placement=”stretch”][vc_column][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]

The currently issued decals are valid through 6-30-2025 – in January 2025 they can be renewed online using one of the links listed below:

Transporters with 30 or Fewer Vehicles

Transporters with 30 or fewer vehicles can use a service that does not require you to create an NJDEP online account – it is the equivalent of making an online purchase and checking out as a Guest. The advantage of creating and using an NJDEP online account is having the ability to complete a service in more than one session and having a history of all such submissions.
