Calling All Local Government On-Road Diesel Vehicle Electrification Projects!”]
The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) is excited to announce an additional $9.1 million for electrifying local government medium- and heavy-duty diesel vehicles, building on last year’s $35 million initiative. This brings the total to $44.1 million, reinforcing New Jersey’s dedication to reducing diesel emissions and combating climate change. Funded by the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI), this funding increase allows even more communities to transition to electric vehicles, promoting healthier air and lower greenhouse gas emissions.
Project proposals are first-come, first-served.
