Abstract
DGS97-3 comprises Chapter 8, “Geophysical Techniques”, of the NJDEP Field Sampling Procedures Manual, 2005. This document provides technical guidance to the regulated community regarding procedures on performing geophysical investigations at hazardous waste and ground-water-pollution sites. The advantages and limitations of each method are presented along with instrumentation, survey design, procedure and quality assurance. A bibliography is provided for additional reading on each method.
