Public Land Administration

 

We partner with a variety of businesses, non-profits and public agencies to provide services to the public in, and to help operate facilities in, our State Parks, State Forests, historic sites and wildlife management areas.

These partnerships are undertaken through leases,
license agreements and concession agreements.

Services provided through
seasonal concession agreements include:

Food services
Boat rentals
Open air theater programs
Cross country skiing
Other outdoor recreational activities

We also have educational partnerships and concessionaires
that offer interesting and exciting ways for visitors
to learn about New Jersey’s fascinating heritage
and to explore our natural environment.

 

The Department encourages members of the public
to propose new and innovative ideas for serving
our patrons that are consistent with our image and mission.
