The Bureau of Release Prevention works to protect public health and the environment by preventing incidents before they occur.

Four unit areas carry out the Bureau’s work: the Toxic Catastrophe Prevention Act (TCPA) Program, the Discharges of Petroleum and Other Hazardous Substances (DPHS) Program, the Homeland Security Support Program, and the Underground Storage Cavern Permitting Program. The bureau reviews facility plans, conducts site inspections, performs enforcement actions, and provides compliance assistance.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row”][vc_column][vc_empty_space][vc_row_inner equal_height=”yes”][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][info-box-shortcode buttontitle=”Learn More about TCPA” buttonlink=”https://deptest.nj.gov/brp/tcpa/” bgimg=”858″]
