WRM Goals

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]The Water Resource Management Program uses the best available science to ensure that water resources are adequate and safe for current and future uses and needs, thereby protecting public health, safety, and the environment. To achieve this goal: WRM monitors and assesses surface and groundwaters; conducts research, geologic mapping, and water supply planning; establishes standards and policies; regulates pesticides, drinking water, wastewater and its residuals, water diversions; provides low cost financial assistance for water infrastructure improvements; and ensures compliance with drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater regulations.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

The primary goals of WRM include:
