The Green Acres Program acquired this property adjacent to the Delaware and Raritan (D&R) Canal State Park to preserve its historic significance and provide for passive recreation. The property, adjacent to the preserved Institute Woods and Princeton Battlefield State Park, is part of a region that was critical to the American Revolution.
