[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2/6″][vc_wp_custommenu nav_menu=”19″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”4/6″][vc_column_text]There are many different types of permits that are issued consistent with the provisions of N.J.A.C. 7:14A.  NJPDES permits regulate/authorize the direct discharge of pollutants to surface and ground waters of the State, as well as the indirect discharge of pollutants to domestic treatment works (DTWs).  In addition, some NJPDES permits regulate the generation, use and disposal of residuals.  Treatment Works Approval (TWA) permits regulate/authorize the construction and operation of industrial and domestic wastewater collection, conveyance and treatment facilities, including treatment plants, pumping stations, interceptors, sewer mains and other collection holding and conveyance systems.

Harmful Algal Bloom Management General Permit (Category HAB)

Pesticide Application Discharge General Permit (Category PGP)

A request for authorization under this permit is required for certain entities and for applications over certain annual treatment thresholds as defined in Table 1 (found below).

This NJPDES general permit is issued to ensure compliance with the Clean Water Act and does not supersede and/or replace any permits issued by NJDEP’s Pesticide Control Program. This NJPDES permit also does not negate the requirements under any other federal, state, and local laws and regulations including, but not limited to Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), Pinelands Commission Certificate of Filing, Aquatic Pesticide Permit, Mosquito/Fly Control Permit, and Reporting to the National Response Center.

Short Term De Minimis Discharge General Permit (Category B7)
