Blue Acres is a voluntary flood buyout program for residential properties that are flood prone. The program provides homeowners with the option to sell their land, move out of harm’s way, and stop the cycle of repetitive flooding and property loss.

How It Works

A homeowner voluntarily applies for a buyout. If funding is available and the home is eligible, an offer to purchase the home may be made.
