The presence or absence of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/deptest.nj.gov\/wlm\/lrp\/special-areas\/\" rel=\"noopener\">special areas<\/a>\u00a0can be rudimentarily determined using the Department\u2019s online mapping service,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nj.gov\/dep\/gis\/newmapping.htm\" rel=\"noopener\">NJ-GeoWeb<\/a>. The presence of special areas within your project site may also affect the type of authorization required.<\/p>\n<p>Please be advised, the below list is intended to provide general guidance on some of the more common projects. The list does not cover all projects which require a permit and may not cover all Division of Land Resource Protection permits required for a project.
