{"id":5148,"date":"2023-03-06T15:12:29","date_gmt":"2023-03-06T15:12:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/deptest.nj.gov\/srp\/?page_id=5148"},"modified":"2024-02-28T18:01:57","modified_gmt":"2024-02-28T18:01:57","slug":"finance","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/deptest.nj.gov\/srp\/finance\/","title":{"rendered":"Finance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column offset=&#8221;vc_col-lg-9 vc_col-md-9&#8243; el_class=&#8221;order-2&#8243;][breadcrumb-shortcode][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"topic-header\">Financial Assistance<\/h4>\n<p>The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) formed the <a href=\"https:\/\/deptest.nj.gov\/srp\/finance\/eca-spill-fund\/\">Environmental Claims Administration (ECA)<\/a> program, financed by the New Jersey Spill Compensation Fund (Spill Fund), to help innocent individuals, businesses and local governments suffering direct or indirect damages from the discharge of a hazardous substance.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/deptest.nj.gov\/srp\/finance\/hdsrf\/\">Hazardous Discharge Site Remediation Fund (HDSRF)<\/a> provides financial assistance and grants for investigations and\/or remediation of certain contaminated properties.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/deptest.nj.gov\/srp\/finance\/ust-fund\/\">Petroleum Underground Storage Tank (UST)<\/a> Fund provides financial assistance in the form of loans and grants to eligible owners and operators for the closure and remediation of discharges from residential other unregulated petroleum underground storage tanks, and for the closure and remediation of State regulated petroleum underground storage tanks.<\/p>\n<p>The United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) has a program that provides <a href=\"https:\/\/deptest.nj.gov\/srp\/finance\/tech-assistance-grants\/\">Technical Assistance Grants<\/a> to affected groups at Superfund sites.
