{"id":5121,"date":"2023-02-27T19:55:21","date_gmt":"2023-02-27T19:55:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/deptest.nj.gov\/srp\/?page_id=5121"},"modified":"2025-06-16T16:09:51","modified_gmt":"2025-06-16T16:09:51","slug":"fees","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/deptest.nj.gov\/srp\/fees\/","title":{"rendered":"Fees"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column offset=&#8221;vc_col-lg-9 vc_col-md-9&#8243; el_class=&#8221;order-2&#8243;][breadcrumb-shortcode][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"topic-header\">Annual Site Remediation Reform Act Program Fee Calculation Report<\/h4>\n<p>Pursuant to the Administrative Requirements for the Remediation of Contaminated Sites (ARRCS, N.J.A.C. 7:26C), the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection is to prepare each year an &#8220;Annual Site Remediation Reform Act Program Fee Calculation Report.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The report is to include the information contained in the annual budget submission to the Department of the Treasury, the numbers of contaminated areas of concern and of contaminated media, the base contaminated area of concern fee, the contaminated area of concern fee for each of the four categories, and the contaminated media fee that shall be due and payable. Additionally, the report is to include the factors used to calculate the remedial action permit fee for each remedial action permit activity, as well as the annual remedial action permit fee for each type of Remedial Action Permit. A notice is to be published in the New Jersey Register that includes a summary of the report and its Site Remediation Reform Act Program budget, and the Department is also required to post the report on its website.<\/p>\n<p>The notice regarding the &#8220;Annual Site Remediation Reform Act Program Fee Calculation Report&#8221; was published in the Monday, June 16, 2025 New Jersey Register. The report is available here <a href=\"https:\/\/deptest.nj.gov\/srp\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/39\/srp_annual_fee_report_fy2026.pdf\">Annual Fee Calculation Report<\/a> <span class=\"text-12\">[pdf]<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Implementation of the new fees will be as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For Annual Remediation Fees, if the invoice sent by the Department is <u>dated<\/u>:\n<ul class=\"my-3\">\n<li>On or before June 30, 2025, the Annual Remediation Fees listed in the June 3, 2024 version of the &#8220;Annual Site Remediation Reform Act Program Fee Calculation Report&#8221; apply<\/li>\n<li>On or after July 1, 2025, the Annual Remediation Fees described in the June 16, 2025 version of the &#8220;Annual Site Remediation Reform Act Program Fee Calculation Report&#8221; apply<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>For Remedial Action Permit Annual Fees, if the invoice sent by the Department is <u>dated<\/u>:\n<ul class=\"my-3\">\n<li>On or before June 30, 2025, the Remedial Action Permit Annual Fees listed in the June 3, 2024 version of the &#8220;Annual Site Remediation Reform Act Program Fee Calculation Report&#8221; apply<\/li>\n<li>On or after July 1, 2025, the Remedial Action Permit Activity Fees described in the June 16, 2025 version of the &#8220;Annual Site Remediation Reform Act Program Fee Calculation Report&#8221;
