The Ombudsman is located within the New Jersey Department of State. Other responsibilities of the Ombudsman may include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reviewing and providing comments and recommendations to EPA and state\/local air pollution control authorities regarding the development and implementation of regulations that impact small businesses;<\/li>\n<li>Helping to disseminate information about upcoming air regulations, control requirements, and other pertinent matters to small businesses;<\/li>\n<li>Referring small businesses to the appropriate specialists in state government and elsewhere for help with particular needs (e.g. available control technologies and operating permit requirements);
