Comment Period Extension and Informal Stakeholder Meetings for Red Tape Review of DEP Proposals<\/h3>\n

Notice of extension or reopening of comment periods and informal stakeholder meetings for pending Department of Environmental Protection proposals suspended under Executive Order No. 1 (2010)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Take notice<\/strong>\u00a0that the Department of Environmental Protection (Department) has extended or reopened to March 15, 2010, the public comment periods on the pending proposals suspended under Executive Order No. 1 issued by Governor Christie on January 20, 2010.<\/p>\n

The Department seeks additional public comment on these proposals for the purpose of informing the reviews of pending proposed rules being conducted by the Department and the Red Tape Review Group established under Executive Order No. 3 issued by Governor Christie on January 20, 2010.\u00a0 In particular, the Department seeks public comment that focuses on the enumerated purposes of the rules review as set forth in Executive Order Nos. 1 and 3, as well as in Executive Order No. 2 (2010), which describes “Common Sense Principles” to be implemented in rulemaking.<\/p>\n

The comment periods for the below-listed rule proposals are extended or reopened to March 15, 2010.<\/p>\n
