\nConserve Wildlife Matching Grants Program, N.J.A.C. 7:5<\/p>\n

PUBLIC NOTICE<\/strong>
\nTake notice <\/strong>that the NJ Department of Environmental Protection is proposing amendments to N.J.A.C. 7:5 for the Division of Fish and Wildlife\u2019s administration of the Conserve Wildlife Matching Grants program.<\/p>\n

The Conserve Wildlife Matching Grants program was created in 1995 when a portion of the Motor Vehicle laws was amended to create the Conserve Wildlife dedicated motor vehicle license plate (N.J.S.A. 39:3-33.11). Of the wildlife conservation license plate\u2019s yearly renewal fee, the law requires that $2.00 be given to the Division of Fish and Wildlife (Division) to provide grants for endangered and non-game wildlife conservation projects.<\/p>\n

The proposal is scheduled to be published in the New Jersey Register dated February 7, 2022.\u00a0 A copy of the proposal is available on the Department\u2019s webpage at: https:\/\/deptest.nj.gov\/rules\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/70\/proposals\/20220207a.pdf <\/a>and LexisNexis free public access to the New Jersey Register (https:\/\/www.lexisnexis.com\/hottopics\/njoal<\/a>).<\/p>\n
