\nLicensing of Water Supply and Wastewater Treatment Operators – N.J.A.C. 7:10A<\/p>\n
\nTake notice that the NJ Department of Environmental Protection (Department) is proposing to readopt with amendments the Licensing of Water Supply and Wastewater Treatment Operators rules, N.J.A.C. 7:10A. \u00a0The Department also proposes related amendments to the New Jersey Pollutant Discharge Elimination System rules at N.J.A.C. 7:14A-6.12. \u00a0The amendments to the rules pertain to requirements for training contact hours (TCH) for operator license renewal; the requirements for testing; the extension of time for license renewal to active duty military personnel and licensed operators who are undergoing a hardship; the duties and responsibilities of licensed operators; a new provision stating that Very Small Water System (VSWS) licensed operators wishing to operate more than 10 systems must submit a written request to the Department for approval; and changes in the fee schedule for application fees, initial license fees, annual license fees and late renewal fees.<\/p>\n\n
