\n<\/strong>Water Pollution Control Act – N.J.A.C. 7:14-2 and 8<\/p>\n
\nTake notice that the NJ Department of Environmental Protection is proposing to readopt the Water Pollution Control Act.\u00a0 A statement of the substance of the proposal follows: Subchapter 2 establishes construction standards for wastewater treatment facilities and defines the roles and responsibilities of the owner, the owner’s representative or engineer and the construction contractor.\u00a0 Subchapter 8 establishes a uniform policy for the Department’s assessment of civil administrative penalties for violations of the NJPDES regulations (NJAC 7:14A), the rules governing standards for Individual Subsurface Sewage Disposal Systems (N.J.A.C. 7:9A), the Water Supply Allocation regulations (N.J.A.C. 7:19), the Water Supply and Wastewater Operators’ Licensing regulations (N.J.A.C. 7:10A), and the Underground Storage Tank regulations (N.J.A.C. 7:14B).\u00a0 Subchapter 8 also includes Grace Period applicability and procedures that identify certain violations as minor and subject to a grace period.\u00a0 There are no proposed changes to these subchapters.<\/p>\n
