Notice of Rule Proposal<\/strong> Public Notice<\/b> P.L.2005, c.228 amended the Safe Dam Act, N.J.S.A. 58:4-1 et seq. to provide additional enforcement remedies for the Department to pursue and enforce Dam Safety Standards. This amendment to the Dam Safety Standards is necessary to establish the penalties and procedures for implementing the provisions of the amended law.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n The proposal is scheduled to be published in the New Jersey Register dated November 19, 2007.<\/p>\n A copy of the proposal is available from: the Department\u2019s web site<\/a>; by contacting John Ritchey by mail at P.O.
