\nSTATE PARK SERVICE CODE \u2013 PROPOSED READOPTION WITH AMENDMENTS
\nN.J.A.C. 7:2<\/p>\n
\nTake notice that the NJ Department of Environmental Protection is proposing
\nto readopt, with amendments, N.J.A.C. 7:2 \u2013 State Park Service Code.
\nA statement of the substance of the proposal follows:<\/p>\n
\nmanagement and use of State parks, forests, recreation areas,
\nhistoric sites, natural areas, marinas, a golf course, botanical
\ngardens and other lands, waters and facilities under the jurisdiction
\nof the Department and assigned to the State Park Service in
\nthe Division of Parks and Forestry. The amendments include
\nchanges that update definitions; update the manner in which
\nthe Park Service accepts reservations for its overnight facilities;
\nupdate the local golf course rules, reservations policy, golf
\ntournament procedures, school team practices, and golf etiquette
\nsections of the rules relating to the State-owned golf courses;
\nmodify berthing permit and assignment procedures at State marinas
\nto improve operations and customer service; increase some fees
\nand add fees for newly acquired facilities and newly reinstated
\nservices that the Park Service provides; and modify the fee
\nstructure to provide flexibility to collect the increased sales
\ntax.<\/p>\n
