Notice of Rule Proposal<\/strong> PUBLIC NOTICE<\/strong> The proposed increases would apply to fees for permit applications for minor facilities, as regulated by N.J.A.C. 7:27-8, and fees for applications for significant modifications for major facilities, as regulated by N.J.A.C. 7:27-22.\u00a0 Additionally, the Department is proposing to increase the general permit registration fees for minor facilities and general operating permit registration fees for major facilities.<\/p>\n The proposal is scheduled to be published in the New Jersey Register dated August 18, 2014.\u00a0 A copy of the proposal is available at https:\/\/deptest.nj.gov\/rules\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/70\/proposals\/20140818a.pdf<\/a> and in official repository libraries.\u00a0 In addition, LexisNexis provides free on-line public access to the New Jersey Administrative Code and the New Jersey Register at https:\/\/www.lexisnexis.com\/hottopics\/njoal\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n A public hearing concerning the proposal and the proposed revision to the New Jersey State Implementation Plan that it represents, is scheduled as follows:<\/p>\n Monday, September 22, 2014, at 10:00 A.M.
\nFees for Permits and Certificates for Minor Facilities and Operating Permits, N.J.A.C. 7:27-8.6 and 22.31<\/p>\n
\nTake notice that the NJ Department of Environmental Protection is proposing rule amendments to increase the service fees that it charges for permitting stationary sources of air pollution.\u00a0 The Department proposes to adjust these fees, since the revenue that the Department currently receives from the existing fees is less than the costs of the services the Department performs (permitting, inspections, and planning).<\/p>\n
