{"id":1398,"date":"2021-10-21T09:56:14","date_gmt":"2021-10-21T13:56:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/deptest.nj.gov\/rules\/?page_id=1398"},"modified":"2023-03-20T09:42:03","modified_gmt":"2023-03-20T13:42:03","slug":"20140902a","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/deptest.nj.gov\/rules\/notice-of-rule-proposal-archive\/20140902a\/","title":{"rendered":"20140902a"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>NJ DEPARTMENT of ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION<\/b><br \/>\n<strong>LAND USE MANAGEMENT<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>DIVISION OF LAND USE MANAGEMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Notice of Rule Proposal<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Coastal Permit Program Rules, N.J.A.C. 7:7<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Freshwater Wetlands Protection Act Rules, N.J.A.C. 7:7A<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Flood Hazard Area Control Act Rules, N.J.A.C. 7:13<\/strong><br \/>\nProposed amendments to application fees<\/p>\n<p><strong>PUBLIC NOTICE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><u>Take notice<\/u> that the NJ Department of Environmental Protection is proposing amend, repeal, and adopt new rules concerning fees for applications for permits and determinations or approvals in the Coastal Permit Program Rules at N.J.A.C. 7:7, the Freshwater Wetlands Protection Act Rules\u00a0 at N.J.A.C. 7:7A, and the Flood Hazard Area Control Act Rules at N.J.A.C. 7:13.\u00a0 A statement of the substance of the proposal follows: The proposed amendments and new rules establish a simplified, cohesive fee structure across the three chapters of rules, and incorporate a process to adjust fees in the future for each of the three permitting programs based on their respective projected annual budgets and projected fee revenues. The fee adjustment for each program would be accomplished through publication in the New Jersey Register of a public notice of a fee report and administrative changes to the fee amounts.\u00a0 The proposed amendments and new rules also make uniform the fees for certain permits and determinations that are common to all three programs, which will enhance the Department\u2019s ability to implement electronic permitting in the future.
