Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners<\/h2>\n

In accordance with the Radiologic Technologists Act (N.J.S.A. 26:2D-24<\/a> <\/i>) the Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners (Board) consists of 15 members and has the following responsibilities:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. To advise the Commission on Radiation Protection on issues involving radiologic technology.<\/li>\n
  2. To establish and review educational standards and policies for radiologic technology educational programs.<\/li>\n
  3. To develop and review licensure standards and to license applicants who meet these standards.<\/li>\n
  4. To review and award accreditation to those radiologic technology programs that meet or exceed the educational standards and policies.<\/li>\n
  5. To investigate allegations of unethical conduct and to report potential sanctions to the Commission for their action.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

Box 420 (Mail Code 25-01), Trenton, New Jersey 08625. Board standards and other reference materials for diagnostic and dental radiologic technology and radiation therapy are listed below. For limited programs, please contact the Bureau at (609)984-5890.<\/p>\n
