Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 7:36-25.13, the NJDEP has been asked to review the following proposed lease of Green Acres encumbered parkland:<\/p>\n

Park Owner:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Egg Harbor Township<\/p>\n

Park Name\/Location:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

220 Leap Street<\/p>\n

Block 5925, Lot 1<\/p>\n

Proposed Lessee:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Hearts Therapeutic Riding Center, Inc. (a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization)<\/p>\n

Proposed Leased Premises:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>5 acres, including horse riding premises and park buildings<\/p>\n

Purpose of Lease:\u00a0<\/strong> Operation of a community-based equestrian center, including a trail system for therapeutic horseback riding and equine assisted activities.\u00a0 See https:\/\/www.heartstrc.org\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Proposed Lease Term:<\/strong>\u00a0 10 years<\/p>\n

Proposed Compensation:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>$1 per year<\/p>\n
