Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 7:36-25.13, the NJDEP has been asked to review the following proposed lease of Green Acres encumbered parkland:<\/p>\n

Park Owner:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>City of Margate<\/p>\n

Park Name\/Location:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Public Beach between S Decatur Avenue and S Benson Avenue<\/p>\n

Block 25, Lot 4<\/p>\n

Proposed Lessee:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Yo-Leven, Inc., d\/b\/a Ventura’s Greenhouse Restaurant<\/p>\n

Proposed Leased Premises:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Beach bar with pergola, fence, tables, bar, storage<\/p>\n

Purpose of Lease:\u00a0<\/strong> Seasonal beach bar for the benefit of the beach going public<\/p>\n

Proposed Lease Term:<\/strong>\u00a0 3 years, for seasonal use between May 1st and October 31st of each year<\/p>\n

Proposed Compensation:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>$25,000 for the first year, with a 3% increase every year thereafter<\/p>\n
