The Township of Hillsborough, in the County of Somerset, New Jersey has filed a request with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Office of Transactions and Public Land Administration, proposing an amendment to its Recreation and Open Space Inventory (ROSI) to remove property located in the Township of Hillsborough identified as Block 150, Lot 4Q on the tax map of the Township (Property). The Property is a 57.172-acre parcel located on Auten Road. The Township asserts that the Property is held for and restricted to agricultural uses under a pre-existing Somerset County Agricultural Development Board restriction and was erroneously listed on the ROSI since it is not held for recreation and or conservation purposes.<\/p>\n
