The Murphy Administration has embarked on a targeted regulatory reform effort that will modernize environmental laws to Protect Against Climate Threats (PACT). NJ PACT ushers critically needed changes to our air emissions and environmental land use regulations, to enable government, businesses, and residents to effectively respond to current climate threats, and reduce future climate damages.<\/span><\/p>\n Reducing greenhouse gas emissions requires a wide range of strategies, from regulatory reform to voluntary programs.\u202f The Department\u2019s CPR effort encompasses various sectoral approaches to drive down emissions, including:[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator color=”black”][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n New Jersey is continuing its efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and move towards a clean energy future.
