Temperatures in the low 40\u2019s.\u00a0Catches were generally light, consisting of mostly spiny dogfish, skates, and horseshoe crabs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Collaborative Research<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The ocean trawl survey resumed a cooperative research initiative with Monmouth University in April. Pilot sampling began in August 1988 and continued with six bimonthly samples in 1989.
