{"id":18185,"date":"2022-06-01T19:33:00","date_gmt":"2022-06-01T19:33:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/deptest.nj.gov\/njfw\/?p=18185"},"modified":"2023-04-18T15:31:12","modified_gmt":"2023-04-18T19:31:12","slug":"new-jersey-seafood-processors-and-dealers-covid-19-relief-funding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/deptest.nj.gov\/njfw\/new-jersey-seafood-processors-and-dealers-covid-19-relief-funding\/","title":{"rendered":"New Jersey Seafood Processors and Dealers COVID-19 Relief Funding"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>NJDEP&#8217;s Marine Resources Administration (MRA) is partnering with New Jersey\u2019s Department of Health and the Department of Agriculture to provide reimbursements for eligible COVID-19 expenses incurred by NJ\u2019s seafood processors, including processing vessels and dealers, between Jan. 27, 2020 and Dec. 31, 2021, through the newly established New Jersey Seafood Processor COVID-19 Assistance Program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eligible activities for reimbursement include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Workplace safety measures;<\/li><li>Retrofit of facilities for worker and consumer safety;<\/li><li>Market pivots;<\/li><li>Medical costs associated with providing or purchasing COVID-19 testing.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants eligible for reimbursement must have held all required valid licenses and permits to operate as a seafood processor and\/or dealer within the USDA\u2019s Agricultural Marketing Service required timeframe.
