This amendment contains alternatives to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Revise the Fishery Management Plan (FMP) goals and objectives<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Modify the bluefish allocations between the commercial and recreational sectors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Modify the commercial allocations to the states<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Initiate a rebuilding plan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Revise the quota transfer processes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Revise how the FMP accounts for management uncertainty<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Revise the&nbsp;<em>de minimis<\/em>&nbsp;provisions in the Commission&#8217;s FMP<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Information to Review and Comment On:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/static1.squarespace.com\/static\/511cdc7fe4b00307a2628ac6\/t\/603024c22dfbff47ba214d99\/1613767878120\/Bluefish-PHD_Feb2021.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Council&#8217;s Public Hearing Document:<\/a>&nbsp;An abbreviated version of the amendment which summarizes proposed management options and impacts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/static1.squarespace.com\/static\/511cdc7fe4b00307a2628ac6\/t\/6030255dcdc93c0279150901\/1613768032922\/ASMFC-BluefishDraftAmendment_Feb2021.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Commission&#8217;s Draft Amendment Document:<\/a>&nbsp;A more comprehensive management document that will resemble the Commission&#8217;s final amendment once approved.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Both documents contain identical options for public input,<\/strong>&nbsp;but each have been developed according to each management body&#8217;s differing requirements.&nbsp;<strong>Commenters should only submit comments on one of the documents.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/static1.squarespace.com\/static\/511cdc7fe4b00307a2628ac6\/t\/6033c5d53b981c77c84fbb65\/1614005717245\/Bluefish+Allocation+Reference+Guide_2021-02.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Quick Reference Guide:<\/a>&nbsp;provides an overview of the alternatives under consideration in the amendment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bluefish Allocation and Rebuilding Amendment&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?app=desktop&amp;v=XmnjdziBaAI\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">pre-recorded video<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Virtual Hearing &amp; Webinar Connection Instructions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interested members of the public are encouraged to provide oral comments at any of the public hearings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To register for a public hearing please go to the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/register.gotowebinar.com\/rt\/1167425575591673359\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Public Hearing Registration<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>select the hearing(s) you plan to attend from the dropdown menu.
