All-Time Outstanding Deer List<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The annual Garden State Deer Classic<\/strong> features outstanding white-tailed deer harvested during the previous year\u2019s hunting seasons and recognizes the hunters who took them<\/a>. The deer had been entered in the Outstanding White-tailed Deer Program<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2025 Deer Classic took place during the New Jersey State Federation of Sportsmen\u2019s Clubs Annual Convention and Sportsman’s Jamboree<\/a> at the Dream Park Equestrian Center in Logan Township, NJ.\u00a0 The Awards Ceremony for the most outstanding deer harvested during last year\u2019s 2023\u201324 hunting season occurred during the Jamboree on Saturday, April 26, at 2 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Deer Classic is jointly sponsored by NJDEP Fish and Wildlife, the New Jersey State Federation of Sportsmen\u2019s Clubs<\/a>, United Bowhunters of New Jersey<\/a>, and the NJ Outdoor Alliance – Environmental Projects<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2024 Deer Classic took place March 1-2, 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A highlight of the Classic each year is a stunning display featuring some of New Jersey\u2019s largest bucks. The 2024 event culminated in an awards ceremony on Saturday, March 2, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the Deer Classic, Fish and Wildlife biologists are present the entire time to answer questions and discuss management strategies, goals and issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
