{"id":219,"date":"2021-12-24T22:51:06","date_gmt":"2021-12-24T22:51:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/deptest.nj.gov\/njfw\/?page_id=219"},"modified":"2023-05-10T11:35:12","modified_gmt":"2023-05-10T15:35:12","slug":"obtaining-a-duplicate-license-or-permit","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/deptest.nj.gov\/njfw\/licenses-and-permits\/obtaining-a-duplicate-license-or-permit\/","title":{"rendered":"Obtaining a Duplicate License or Permit"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Since 2007 all licenses and permits have been issued via the computerized&nbsp;<strong>Integrated Electronic Licensing System<\/strong>&nbsp;(IELS), either at license agents or via New Jersey Fish &amp; Wildlife&#8217;s license website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Duplicates of licenses, permits and stamps can be obtained using the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/nj.aspirafocus.com\/internetsales\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">license website<\/a>&nbsp;or at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/deptest.nj.gov\/njfw\/licenses-and-permits\/license-agents\/\">license agents<\/a>&nbsp;for a $2.00 fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If there is a harvest stub associated with the license or permit, a customer is limited to purchasing a duplicate license\/permit at a license agent or on the Internet sales site\u00a0<strong>TWO times only<\/strong>. Any subsequent duplicate license or permit must be obtained in person at NJ Fish &amp; Wildlife&#8217;s Central or Southern Regional Offices, or the Pequest Trout Hatchery and Natural Resource Education Center. It is advisable to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/deptest.nj.gov\/njfw\/contact-us\/#offices\">phone the office first<\/a>\u00a0to ensure staff is available to issue the license\/permit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Customers cannot print duplicates of licenses purchased for a prior year, but can print a receipt of licenses purchased during the prior three years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Records of licenses issued prior to the IELS are not available. However, hunters may be able to obtain a duplicate Hunter Education Card(s) depending on when originally issued.
