\nTo provide grants to offset the cost of purchasing and maintaining electric vehicle charging stations. The program is designed to expand New Jersey\u2019s growing network of electric vehicle infrastructure, allowing residents, businesses, and government agencies to purchase and drive electric vehicles.<\/p>\n

APPLICATION DEADLINE<\/strong>
\nLevel 1\/Level 2 applications are accepted on a rolling basis; DC Fast Charger<\/a> applications are accepted during competitive solicitation periods only.<\/p>\n

\nContingent upon availability of funding.<\/p>\n

WHO IS ELIGIBLE\u00a0<\/strong>
\nPrivate residential dwellings other than multi-unit dwellings are not eligible for grants. The program is open to all other applicants: Businesses, governments, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions.<\/p>\n

GRANT LIMITATIONS<\/strong>
\nFor Level 1 and Level 2 chargers, applicants will be considered on a first-come, first-served, basis, and funds will be allocated to approved projects until depleted.\u00a0DC Fast Charger<\/a> applications are accepted during competitive solicitation periods only.\u00a0The NJDEP reserves the right to limit the amount of reimbursement per applicant based on number and location of charging stations.<\/p>\n

APPLICATION PROCEDURES<\/strong>
\nProspective applicants must submit an Application via the System for Administering Grants Electronically (SAGE). Prospective applicants must also register for NJStart at\u00a0https:\/\/www.njstart.gov\/bso\/<\/a><\/p>\n
