As directed by\u00a0Executive Order No. 89<\/a>\u00a0<\/i>, the Chief Resilience Officer, with the support of the Interagency Council on Climate Resilience<\/a>, developed a statewide Climate Change Resilience Strategy.\u00a0 The Climate Change Resilience Strategy, released October 12, 2021, includes recommendations to promote the long-term mitigation, adaptation, and resilience of New Jersey\u2019s economy, communities, infrastructure, and natural resources throughout the State.<\/span><\/p>\n [\/vc_column_text][vc_separator border_width=”2″][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”4\/12″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n New Jersey\u2019s first statewide Climate Change Resilience Strategy <\/i> <\/a>provides a suite of forward-looking policy options to promote the long-term resilience of New Jersey to climate change. As a framework for policy, regulatory, and operational changes, the Resilience Strategy presents actions that New Jersey\u2019s Executive Branch can take to support the resilience of the state\u2019s communities, economy, and infrastructure.
