Since 1954, the New Jersey Clean Air Council has advised the DEP on air quality matters.<\/span><\/h1>\n

The NJ Clean Air Council consists of 18 members, 14 of which are appointed by the Governor. Members serve four-year terms, and include representatives of the Commissioners of Health, and Community Affairs; and the Secretaries of Agriculture, and the NJ Commerce Commission\u2019s Board of Directors.<\/h4>\n
